Central School For Tibetans is one of the oldest residential schools among CSTs which is serving the Tibetan as well as the Indian Community from the very first day of it’s establishment. We are fulfilling the purpose of the establishment of this school to preserve the Tibetan culture and traits with the help of well qualified and experienced teachers. We are also ensuring the inculcation of quality education in young ones as they are the future of any society. We are engaged to shape them on right track with the motive-“Enter to learn, Leave to serve”.

The Central School for Tibetans, Kalimpong was established on July 17, 1964 initially named Tibetan Refugee School. It was the fifth Tibetan residential schools to be set up after the flight of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Tibetans in 1959.
